Our menders Julia, Arianna and Andrea will bring together fun and practical ways of mending so you can do at home too!

Some of the things you can do with us:
-focus on hand sewing skills that makes sewing easily assessible
-mend tears on jumpers, shirts, trousers and jeans
-make old jumpers Fancy with personalized patches
-patches available on the day are drawable and waterproof, there is a wide selection of other fabric with different textures and thickness
-creative embroidery for mending
-fix holely pockets
-sewing machine available for mends like replacing zipper (please bring your own replacement)
-buttons to match
If there is something specific you would like to MAKE or MEND, feel free to send us a message! We support projects that make clothing last.
Please come in early to allow enough time for your mend, each mend may take around half an hour.
If you couldn’t make it on a Friday, we have a event the Saturday before (22nd Feb) Sew Mendable in the same area! This will be our last mending event due to project’s funding coming to an end so we really hope to see you!

Transport: We are 3 min walking distance away from Queen Street Station. Enter through Victoria Road (wee path next to 537 Victoria Road), onto Langside Lane. We are on the left! We encourage you to cycle, walk, use public transport if possible when visiting us.
