Mackintosh Walking Tour

October 20, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Free

We are delighted to partner with OUT on Sundays to host a very special walk. Our walk leader Red Ribbon Bear, will take us on a journey around Glasgow introducing us to many of Charles Rennie Mackintosh works while discussing their history and influence including that of Asian origin.

We’ll meet at The Teacher building on St Enoch Square and on our journey we will take in the Argyle Tea Room, The Lighthouse, Buchanan Tea Room, The Art School and ending at The Willow Tea Rooms, where you can perhaps stay on to enjoy afternoon tea. (This is optional and costs covered by each person individually).

Please contact lindsey@ricefield.org.uk if you have any questions.

We advise to dress for Scottish weather (having something waterproof in case of weather change), wear comfortable shoes and bring your own reusable water bottle.

Our workshops are free to attend thanks to funding from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund https://www.keepscotlandbeautiful.org/sustainability-climate-change/climate-challenge-fund/
