Make Your Own Book Sleeve @ Hillhead Library

September 14 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

free

Have you had situations that your book pages get bent and creased beyond repair just because it is cramped in your bag? If you can relate to this, you’ve probably thought that there must be a better way to keep your book safe from any other objects that are potentially a danger to the pages.

We will show you how to make your own book sleeve from 2nd hand materials to make sure you can protect these books of your own or from a library. We aim to reuse resources around us and reduce buying new from shops to save the envirnoment as well as introducing practical skills and the satisfaction of making.

Materials provided. You can either pick up some materials and instructions from us to make at home or spend some time at the library with this alternative activity.

Want to know more about Chinese arts and culture? You may also register free membership for our Ricefield Arts Chinese Library at city centre. Both English and Chinese books available.

Join us in this drop-in session. All are welcome.
