At Ricefield Arts we understand the need for people to grow their own food at home whether they have an outdoor green space or just a windowsill at home! By growing your own food and eating mainly local produce, you can avoid relying on produce that may have otherwise be transported from many miles away. By reducing ‘food miles’ you reduce the carbon emissions associated with your diet.

Our growing workshops along with our cookery workshops aim to teach the community how to grow their own vegetables at home and how to use them in their own cooking.
